This cute ad in a magazine from the 1950's really made me smile....
Now here I am on the morning of February 8, in auction mode. Today I am going to Grand Ledge, Michigan to the Eagles Hall for a good old-fashioned estate auction run by Mike McAllister. I enjoy McAllister’s sense of humor and have attended many of his auctions over the years. Here’s part of what the auction ad says:
"This is a GREAT estate from Lowell, MI. We found several old trunks and boxes full of interesting antiques and collectibles in the attic that have been unopened for several decades. The owner (bless her heart) kept everything for over 90 years. We have moved everything to our storage but have not had time to go through it all"
So naturally I’m quivering with anticipation right now. I’ll let you know what I find in my next posting!
