I came across the sweetest set of six embroidered and appliqued baby bibs in a box lot of linens recently. I'm pretty sure there were probably seven originally, one for each day of the week. The designs really appealed to me, reminding me of spring. These were definitely well-loved, which is another reason I liked them. They show signs of wear and have dark coloration here and there to the cotton fabric. Instead of taking pictures of them, I scanned the designs into the computer and thought they could be used as a pattern by someone that might like them too.
As you can see, the bear must have been the baby's favorite.....it has the most discoloration.
I just printed a full size color print of the duck using my ink-jet printer, and it really looks great. It could easily be framed and would look so cute in a baby's room. I also think the duck has potential as a baby shower invitation too. Wouldn't it be fun to do a whole shower theme with vintage images?
Have fun creating!
