My last craft project, in which I created some vintage burlap potato sack covered paper mache letters, turned out pretty well except I for one thing: I spelled the word "Howdy". I never say "Howdy", and the only reason I chose that particular word was because it's shorter than "Welcome", and I couldn't think of anything else when I was at the store.
Every time I look at my "Howdy" letters, I think of old time country music star Minnie Pearl, but I guess she said "Howdee":
So I decided to ask for help from you, and make a contest out of it. Using some or all of the letters I have (H, O, W, D, Y), and the fewest additional letters, what word or words would you spell? I'll go to the craft store this weekend and purchase more letters after I pick a winner. I'm hoping to buy two or three more letters max. So put your thinking cap on and come up with a better word than Howdy, and I'll put together a nice package of vintage goodies for the winner!
