Summer is almost here, and that means I'm out and about in my van, looking for trouble! I rarely get out of the Lansing area with any money. There's plenty of great stuff right here, if you know where to look.
I've always wanted a classic glider like the one that's for sale at the Antiques Market of Williamston (below). I'd even put it inside my house, and fill it with bark cloth pillows. It's still for sale, because I can't justify buying anything for myself right now:
I purchased this yard-long of chicks at April's Antiques on Kalamazoo Street in Lansing, Michigan. I don't keep secrets. April's is one of my prime picking spots, and I purchase items there for re-sale:
I love how one of the chicks has a butterfly in its beak:
Another chromolithograph treasure from April's:
An Ohio Art tin litho tea set. I love the colors:
Speaking of great color combos, my favorite vintage pairing is cream and green. I snagged this enamel top table at April's too:
Little girl dresses with cute baby clothing hangers are irresistible to me:
A grouping of kitchen items. I can always sell depression glass. The green goes well with the enamel top table I just bought....
I've priced most of these items and I'm taking them out to my antique mall spaces to sell. June is typically a slow month for sales, and it's nice to get some fresh merchandise in the shop.
