Today I'd like to show you something I spotted at an antique mall in Naples, Florida. There's a hint at the bottom of the V-shaped part, sort of looking like two green feet. Can you guess what it is?
It's an asparagus server, something you don't see every day. In fact, I've never owned or sold an asparagus server, but I'd like to have one to offer to my customers someday. For some reason I failed to flip this piece over to see if there was a maker's mark on the bottom, but I would guess that if there were, it would be made in France.
This example is much more obvious! It's a French majolica asparagus server. Wouldn't your guests be impressed if you served them asparagus in this fancy dish?

A French majolica asparagus server like the example above may sell for at least $150 to $200 in an antique shop here in Michigan.
