I have taken so many pictures of vintage treasures and scanned so many paper items over the last several years that now I'm lumping things into various categories just for fun. For example, I just realized how many pig images I had, and naturally I figured I could get a blog post out of them.....
This cute piggy plaque had some wood burned detail that made it very special:
Good old Dr. LeGear with his Tonic for All Swine:
I found this image rather disturbing, with the live pigs going head first into the Universal Chopper:
A nice old embossed super market sign with a pig motif:
"German Pink Pigs" are fun to collect. I've sold quite a few in my antique mall booths:
A paper mache pig at the Antiques Market of Williamston:
Disney's Three Little Pigs in painted bisque:
Made in Japan:
Cute pigs at Chesterdales' Home and Garden in Naples, Florida:
A cast iron piggy bank I have for sale in my Etsy shop:
I have this ceramic pig planter on my desk, filled with pens and paintbrushes. I prefer looking at the back rather than the front because it's so darn cute:
My mom's neighbor in Naples is a retired pig farmer, and has this cute weathervane on his house:
An adorable salt and pepper set:
Ceramic piggy banks I bought at a recent estate sale:
A piggy bank and his friend:
"Plump Piggies", a book given out at a bank years ago:
Here they are, pigging out:
An old pig from a carousel I spotted at the Lake Odessa Antique Show:
