Most of us are familiar with Victorian-era scrapbooks, so today I'd like to share some autograph books from the same time period or the Edwardian era which followed. I love this example with the unusual shape and colorful cover:
I purchased several nice examples of the little autograph books, some with nice celluloid covers, at an estate sale. I love reading what folks used to say so many years ago:

The Pet Album must have served as a record of ones pets over the years, rather than an autograph book, but I wanted to share it here:
One of the images inside shows a cat making off with a bird.....times were tough back then!
These lovely little items from days gone by sell from $12 on up to $100 or so, depending on a variety of factors, most importantly the content and condition.
