Color along the lines first and work your way in. Coloring along the edges of a distinct area first and then working your way work way in will help prevent you from coloring outside of the lines.
Choose a surface to color on. If you are using a loose leaf coloring page you will want to find a hard surface to work on, while coloring books allow you more flexibility.
While you are coloring, use plenty of different colors to make your picture look bold and bright.
Printing out coloring pages from the internet is the best way to get multiple copies of the same picture, as you don`t need to buy duplicates of the same book. This can be useful if you have children or are hosting a kid s birthday party.
Look for “coloring pages with animals” for giraffes, elephants, or zebras. Kids can either recreate the colors and patterns of animals they’ve seen at a zoo, or they can imaginatively think up new shades and patterns to color the animals.
Don’t worry if your child colors in the animal figures in a way that doesn’t seem realistic. Kids can sometimes make “incorrect” or weird coloring choices, but they often have their own reasons for doing so.
