Choose a coloring book that appeals to you. Coloring books geared towards adults have enjoyed a recent surge in popularity, so you have many options to choose from.
Kids will love coloring in images of their favorite heroes including Wonder Woman, Spiderman, Batman, the Green Lantern, Black Widow, and the Hulk.
While coloring is usually regarded as a solitary activity, there are plenty of coloring groups available where like-minded people share ideas, techniques, and support. Use social media to find a coloring group to join or ask at your local art club or library. If you want a darker color, try applying multiple layers.
When using on loose sheets of paper, you may want to cover your work surface in newspaper depending on the coloring utensils you’ve chosen (permanent markers, for example, may bleed through your paper and leave stains).
You can also try putting paper or cardboard shapes beneath the coloring page and using the crayon rubbings method to create new shapes on your picture.
Retrieve pictures of superheroes if your kids like these characters. Try a search for “DC comic superhero coloring pages” or “Marvel hero coloring sheets.”
