Print the image as a full page to give your child plenty of space to color. If you’re given the option to choose what size the image will be printed as, select “full page.” Click “print” again to print out the picture.
Choose the best place to begin coloring. Some drawing utensils (such as gel pens or markers) are more likely to smear than others.
Search for pictures of flowers and trees if your child likes nature. Search for something like “outdoors children’s coloring pictures.”
There are so many fun things to do!
Select your coloring utensils. Popular options include colored pencils, colored pens (e.g. Sharpie brand fine point markers), or art markers (Artist’s Loft Triangle Markers are a good cheap option, while Copic markers are a popular higher-end product).
Especially when using colored pencils, it’s very important to gradually darken the color using multiple layers. Begin with gentle pressure to create light layers and with each additional layer press down slightly more until the color reaches the desired tone.
